IT IS OKAY, NOT TO BE OKAY! (Part 1)

Holla Dear Formidable Youth!

I know the title of this post might look somewhat confusing but have you encountered experiences in your walk with Christ where situations or people tend to bring you down and you see yourself being submerged in the sea of anxiety and depression. Well, I just overcame that phase not too long ago and being frank, it is by God’s grace and strength I am sharing this with you.

No matter how old you are in your walk with Christ, like a suckling babe or a grown adult, days of temptations, persecutions will emerge wanting to push you off the cliff and when they come, IT IS OKAY, NOT TO BE OKAY!

You don’t have to contemplate how people would look at you because you are a deacon, the leader in a department or the member of a prayer team. It is in those times of weakness, that God yearns to manifest HIS abundant strength in our lives.

Acknowledge that you are weak in such times and pray for strength. Inform your family, spiritual support systems and let them intercede for you in prayers and just as Apostle Paul testified in 2 Timothy 3:11,

“Persecutions, afflictions which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.” KJV

I pray that you will testify and I encourage you with the sweet words of Christ in John 16:33,

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” KJV

YOU ARE FORMIDABLE!!!
